The Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Ministry of Sport have unveiled the designs and plans for the King Salman Stadium, set to become one of the world’s largest sports arenas. The facility will feature a seating capacity of 92,000 and cover more than 660,000 square meters in Riyadh.
Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2029, the stadium’s design was chosen from submissions by six international firms. The architect’s name and total project cost have not been disclosed.
