Minister of Education and Technical Education of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Latif, and Minister of Education and Merit of the Italian Republic , Giuseppe Valditara, exchanged letters of intent in Cairo to create a joint platform to promote the convergence of the Egyptian and Italian educational systems in the fields of vocational education and training.
Paola Perabo, director of human resources of the Danieli Group and president of ITS Academy Udine, attended the event presenting the supportive experience of Danieli to the Italian Higher Technological Institutes (ITS), and the collaboration of Danieli with high-schools and universities, worldwide.
The model of the ITS, institutes of excellence with high, post-diploma technological specialization connecting the field of education and the world of work and production was presented for consideration.
A particular focus will be dedicated to training campuses, territorial networks that strengthen the technical supply chain, training and employability of young people also in foreign countries, including Egypt. Part of the social corporate activities and support to the families of Danieli employees, Danieli established and manages its “Educational Hub Zerotredici”, with focus on soft skills and teamwork.
