Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded an AED 2.6 bln (USD 708 mln) contract to Fibrex Contracting L.L.C. for the construction of the Bay Villas project at Dubai Islands, the company announced.
The Dubai Islands master development covers 18.6 sq km across five islands, featuring 59 km of waterfront, more than 20 km of beaches, as well as parks, golf courses, promenades, and cycling paths. The project is part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to promote sustainable growth and enhance quality of life in the emirate.
