Arabian Gulf Steel Industries (AGSI) has signed an agreement with leading UAE developer Aldar to advance sustainable construction practices using AGSI’s innovative, low-carbon steel solutions, the company announced.
“Our net-zero steel, made from locally sourced recycled materials, aligns with Aldar’s commitment to reducing embodied carbon in property developments,” AGSI stated.
The partnership aims to accelerate net-zero goals, strengthen local supply chains, and support In-Country Value (ICV) initiatives. It also contributes to decarbonizing the UAE’s built environment by promoting circular economy solutions and next-generation building practices that lower environmental impact while advancing sustainability, AGSI added.
