ATS Mechatronics, an Italian equipment supplier, has successfully completed the installation of TMB 400-45 tying machines at Al Jazeera Steel facility in Oman.
These two automatic tying machines will be integrated into a processing line specifically designed for the final tying of round bundles with a maximum size of 400x400mm.
In addition to the tying machines, the supply also includes auxiliary mechanical equipment, a hydraulic circuit, and an electrical and automation system.
The unique feature of the 400-45 model is its special design, incorporating a 45-degree inclined/lateral twisting mechanism. This innovative design ensures a complete double turn tying in a remarkably fast time of just 6.8 seconds, which is consistent with the high-performance standards of the entire product range in ATS Mechatronics’ portfolio, the Italian firm said .
