Arada has awarded a USD 164 mln contract to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) for the first phase of Arada Central Business District (CBD), the commercial hub within the USD 9.5 bln Aljada megaproject, Sharjah’s largest development to date. Construction will begin immediately, with completion and handover expected in the first quarter of 2027.
The first phase will feature eight smart buildings, including Arada’s new nine-floor headquarters, designed to accommodate its 1,500 employees. The cluster will offer 812,000 square feet of Grade A leasable office space, 1,666 parking spaces, 76,000 square feet of landscaped green areas, and 26,500 square feet of retail space.
