Bena Steel partners with Alderley to boost country’s energy sector growth

Bena Steel Industries (BSI) and the Alderley Group, a UK-based energy solutions provider, have forged a strategic partnership and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly pursue opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s energy sector, aligning with the country’s Vision 2030 plan.

The focus of the MoU revolves around enhancing in-country capabilities, supply chains, and energy solutions to support Saudi Arabia’s efforts to ensure global energy security. This includes leveraging existing hydrocarbon production and developing cleaner technologies, such as hydrogen. BSI also intends to make investments in Alderley Dammam’s M24 Branch as part of the agreement.

Alderley’s M24 facility is an advanced engineering center in Saudi Arabia that is fully approved and equipped. It is registered with Saudi Aramco, a global energy leader, for the manufacturing and supply of critical assets used in production, including custody metering systems, modular wellsite skids, chemical injection systems, and truck loading and unloading skids.

This strategic partnership builds upon the successful collaboration between Alderley and BSI over the years. BSI has been a vital supplier of steel products for Alderley’s skid-mounted, integrated solutions in the energy industry. The MoU strengthens their collaboration further and positions both companies as key players in Saudi Arabia’s growing low-carbon sector.

BSI, headquartered in Dammam, began its operations in 1993 as a coil service center. Over the years, it has evolved into the largest center for cut-to-length flat products and slitting of ferrous and non-ferrous coils in Saudi Arabia. BSI has expanded its operations into steel fabrication, metal forming, and tube manufacturing.
