Turkish pipe manufacturer Erciyas Celik Boru has secured a USD 12.2 mln order for the Afsin-Elbistan Thermal Power Plant, Turkey’s largest thermal power project, the company announced in a stock exchange filing.
As part of the project, Erciyas will produce and supply pipes for the Afsin-Elbistan A and B plants.
The company stated that the order will support key infrastructure developments and play a significant role in boosting the country’s energy generation capacity.
Erciyas Celik Boru specializes in producing steel line pipes, with diameters ranging from 10″ (273.1 mm) to 160″ (4,064 mm), and an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons.
