Turkey’s HRC exports rose nearly 11pct YoY in January 2025, reaching approximately 124,000 tons, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Greece was the top importer, receiving 24,000 tons, followed by Libya and Egypt, each importing just over 14,000 tons.
During the same period, Turkey also exported around 11,500 tons of HRC to Spain and an equal amount to Italy.
