Turkey’s HRC imports reached approximately 425,600 tons in January 2025, marking a 2pct increase compared to the same month last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
The HRC imports into Turkey also surged 39pct from the previous month.
China remained the top supplier, delivering 156,900 tons of HRC, followed by Russia with 106,800 tons and South Korea with 56,900 tons.
