Hyundai Steel has signed a Strategic Framework Agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) at Amazon’s Seattle headquarters, aiming to accelerate digital transformation and expand its global presence.
Under the agreement, Hyundai Steel will explore migrating its production management systems and data analytics operations to the AWS Cloud. This transition would enable the company to build an AI-powered, real-time data integration and analysis environment across its domestic manufacturing sites.
The collaboration also opens opportunities for Hyundai Steel to supply low-carbon steel to AWS’s global data center projects, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. The initiative supports Hyundai Steel’s broader strategy to grow its presence in the eco-friendly construction materials market.
