JSW Steel recorded a 12pct YoY increase in consolidated crude steel production, reaching 2.4 mln tons in February 2025.
In India, production rose 13pct YoY to 2.32 mln tons, up from 2.05 mln tons in February 2024, with a capacity utilization rate of 93.5pct.
Meanwhile, JSW Steel USA-Ohio produced 75,000 tons, down from 91,000 tons in the same period last year.
JSW Steel, a major player in the integrated steel industry, boasts a total capacity of 29.7 mln tons per annum in India and the USA. The company aims for further expansion, targeting a total capacity of 38.5 mln tons per annum in India by FY25 as part of its next growth phase.
