Turkish steel producer, Kardemir, has released its sales allocation plan for July to September 2023.
The company has decreased sales allocation for all products except wire rod as compared to the previous quarter.
As per the statement, Kardemir will offer 165,000 tons of billets, 136,000 tons of rebar, 133,000 tons of wire rod and 115,000 tons of profiles in Q3 2023.
Kardemir sells 30 pct of its products to their shareholders as their preferential purchase rights.
Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. In 1995, the company was privatized. It offers steel products, such as blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products.
