Kardemir boosts rebar share in Q3 sales allocation

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has announced its sales allocation plan for the third quarter of 2025, shifting its product mix by reducing allocations for billets and profiles, while increasing the supply of rebar and wire rod compared to the previous quarter.

The company plans to allocate 212,000 tons of billets, 164,000 tons of rebar, 137,000 tons of wire rod, and 90,000 tons of profiles. As per company policy, 30pct of total production is reserved for shareholders, who are granted preferential purchasing rights.

Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. In 1995, the company was privatized. It offers steel products, such as blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products.
