Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has updated its prices for rebar and wire rod, according to the latest price list.
The company is now offering 12-32 mm rebar at TRY 19,460 (USD 546) per ton EXW, a slight decrease from the previous price of TRY 19,710 (USD 556) per ton EXW set on January 16, 2024. The pricing reflects an exchange rate of TRY 35.4 per USD.
For wire rod, Kardemir’s new price for 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade is USD 575 per ton EXW, while 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade is offered at USD 565 per ton EXW. Both prices represent a reduction of USD 25 per ton compared to the previous levels.
