Kardemir lowers rebar allocation in Q2 2025 sales plan

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has announced its sales allocation plan for Q2 2025, increasing allocations for billets, wire rod, and profiles while reducing rebar supply compared to the previous quarter.

According to the company’s statement, Kardemir will allocate 239,000 tons of billets, 124,000 tons of rebar, 136,000 tons of wire rod, and 107,000 tons of profiles. As part of its policy, the company reserves 30pct of its production for shareholders, granting them preferential purchasing rights.

Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. In 1995, the company was privatized. It offers steel products, such as blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products.
