Lamprell said it was awarded four major engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts earlier in 2025, supporting the continued expansion of its operations in Saudi Arabia.
The combined scope of the projects includes offshore platform installations, subsea structures, pipelines and cables, along with infrastructure upgrades, trenching, and full hook-up and commissioning works. The awards significantly add to Lamprell’s regional workload and further strengthen its position as a provider of integrated EPCI solutions to the energy sector.
The company said the new contracts reflect progress in expanding its marine contracting capabilities and deepening its regional footprint. With a backlog exceeding USD 4 bln, Lamprell noted that it is increasingly positioned to execute large and complex offshore projects in the Kingdom.
Lamprell is a leading service provider to the global energy sector, specializing in offshore and onshore platforms, process modules, and the fabrication and refurbishment of jack-up rigs and liftboats. The company operates major facilities in Hamriyah, UAE, spanning about 800,000 square meters with more than 1.25 km of quayside, and has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia through its joint venture at the IMI yard, the largest shipyard in the MENA region, as well as a long-term agreement with Saudi Aramco.
