Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce stated that the number of steel and cement export licenses, since lifting ban on exports in 2016, reached 201 and 133, respectively, totaling 334.
In a statement, the ministry added that the steel and cement export licenses amounted to 29 and 12, respectively, in the first half of 2023, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.
The licenses were issued after fulfilling the relevant conditions and requirements in accordance with the regulatory controls of the ministerial committee formed from the Ministries of Commerce, Finance, Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, as well as Environment, Water and Agriculture.
