Nippon Steel Corporation, in collaboration with Nippon Steel Trading Corporation, has announced the supply of NSCarbolex Neutral, the company’s green steel brand, to Singapore-based steel pipe distributor Hupsteel Pte Ltd. This marks the first order for NSCarbolex Neutral in seamless line pipe products.
Hupsteel, one of Singapore’s largest steel pipe distributors for over 75 years, specializes in the Asia-Pacific market, serving sectors such as petrochemicals, construction, marine, and offshore. Nippon Steel has been a key supplier of seamless steel pipes to Hupsteel for these industries. Hupsteel’s commitment to sustainability and recognition of Nippon Steel’s carbon-neutral vision led to the adoption of NSCarbolex Neutral.
With CO2 reduction a priority across industries, Nippon Steel aims to collaborate with Hupsteel to lead the Asia-Pacific region in sustainable steel distribution by supplying green steel solutions.
