Sanjog, the crane manufacturing division of Preet Group, has secured a contract to supply an overhead crane to SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh, India, the company announced.
The contract covers the design, engineering, and manufacturing, and commissioning of a 125T/35T x 28m overhead crane for liquid metal handling. Designed to operate in extreme conditions, the crane will ensure safe and precise handling of liquid steel.
Sanjog serves as the crane manufacturing arm of Preet Group, a leading producer of steel machinery with a focus on rolling mills.
Bhilai Steel Plant, operated by the state-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), has an annual production capacity of 3.15 mln tons and manufactures a range of products including rails, plates, and structural steel.
