    Tubacex to build Central Asia’s first seamless pipe plant in Kazakhstan

    Spanish company Tubacex is set to build Central Asia’s first seamless pipe manufacturing plant in Kazakhstan, according to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry. The plant will focus on producing seamless nickel alloy and stainless steel tubes.

    Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu met with Tubacex Director General Stefano Manfredi in Astana to discuss the project. Nurtleu emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to providing comprehensive support for the investment, highlighting the significant impact it will have on the country’s industrial growth and job creation.

    The project aligns with Kazakhstan’s industrial development goals as the nation continues to strengthen its role as a regional economic leader and advance technology transfer. Tubacex, based in Spain, specializes in seamless stainless steel and nickel alloy pipes for the energy, oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. With 24 production plants and 14 service centers worldwide, Tubacex has been operating successfully in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, since 2022, focusing on pipeline connectors and localizing production.
