Vallourec has secured a significant order from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) to supply over 30,000 tons of carbon steel tubulars with VAM premium connections, along with associated accessories.
The order falls under the existing Long-Term Agreement (LTA) between Vallourec and Adnoc for the supply of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG). It also includes a range of integrated services such as VAM Field Service and digital solutions aimed at optimizing installation and maintenance, supporting Adnoc’s drive for operational efficiency.
To fulfill the order, production will span Vallourec’s facilities in Brazil, China, and Indonesia.
This order supports Adnoc’s goal of increasing oil production capacity to 5 mln barrels per day by 2027.
In 2023, Vallourec extended its 2019 contract with Adnoc, originally worth USD 900 mln, by two years, with the extension effective from January 2025 to January 2027.
