Vallourec, a global leader in premium seamless tubular solutions, has secured a major contract with Allseas to supply line pipes for the Buzios 10 offshore project, operated by Petrobras.
The deal covers nearly 18,000 tons of subsea seamless premium carbon steel line pipes for risers and flowlines, with an optional extension of around 5,000 tons.
Located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Buzios is among the world’s largest deepwater fields and a key asset for Petrobras. Production is set to rise significantly, with five new units expected online by 2028.
The contract also includes Vallourec’s Pipe Navigator, a digital portal providing real-time access to project documentation, data, and analysis. All pipes will be produced at Vallourec’s Jeceaba facility in Minas Gerais, Brazil, ensuring high local content and a lower carbon footprint.
