Acerinox has partnered with Jeremias to introduce Blueline, the world’s first low-emission chimney and exhaust duct line designed to reduce the carbon footprint of building systems.
The new product range is manufactured using EcoACX stainless steel, a material developed by Acerinox that contains more than 90pct recycled content and delivers at least a 50pct reduction in CO2 emissions compared with conventional stainless steel. The steel is produced using 100pct renewable energy, supporting the decarbonization of building materials and infrastructure.
By integrating EcoACX into Jeremias’s chimney and exhaust systems, the companies aim to help architects, engineers and developers lower the environmental footprint of construction projects while maintaining high durability and performance standards. The system can also help buildings achieve sustainability certifications such as LEED and BREEAM.
The companies said the new chimney line reflects growing demand for low-carbon solutions in the construction sector, where exhaust and gas evacuation systems can play a role in improving overall building sustainability.
Jeremias is a global manufacturer of chimney and exhaust systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications, while Acerinox is one of the world’s leading stainless steel producers.
Acerinox Group is a leading producer of stainless steel and high-performance alloys, operating 15 factories and distributing products in over 80 countries through 28 service centers and 60 commercial offices.
