Turkish steel producer Kardemir has announced its planned sales volumes for Q4 2026, increasing billet allocations while reducing volumes for rebar, wire rod and profiles compared with Q3.
Billet allocations have been raised to 347,000 tons from 280,000 tons in Q3 2026. Rebar allocations have been reduced to 157,000 tons from 162,000 tons, while wire rod allocations have declined to 118,000 tons from 127,000 tons. Profile allocations have also been cut to 64,000 tons from 79,000 tons.
In line with the company’s sales policy, 30pct of the allocated volumes will be reserved for registered shareholders, with the remaining 70pct available to common customers.
Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state-owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. It was privatized in 1995 and produces billets, blooms, rebar, profiles and other steel products.
