Corinth Pipeworks, a global leader in steel pipe solutions for energy and construction, has won two major offshore contracts from Subsea7 in the North Sea, reinforcing its strong regional presence and long-term partnerships.
The first project, Bestla in Norway, involves supplying 12.5 km of 14-inch High-Frequency Welded (HFW) steel pipes for a two-well subsea tie-back to the Brage platform. Operated by OKEA, the development will utilize existing infrastructure to produce and export gas and liquids from the Sognefjord Formation.
In the UK, the Bittern project requires 22 km of 12-inch HFW steel pipes for a water injection pipeline, set to replace the existing line in 2025. Located 190 km east of Aberdeen, the pipeline will support reservoir pressure for the Bittern field, with Subsea7 overseeing installation. Corinth Pipeworks will also apply advanced external coatings at its own facility, capable of handling 22.9-meter steel pipes, demonstrating its integrated production capabilities. These projects highlight Corinth’s innovative, cost-effective solutions for the energy sector.
Corinth Pipeworks, a division of Cenergy Holdings, is a supplier of high quality steel pipes for the energy and construction markets. The company’s plant is located in Thisvi, Viotia, Greece with an annual production capacity of 1 mln tons.
