Pakistani flat steel producers, International Steels Limited (ISL) and Aisha Steel, have reduced CRC and galvanized coil prices by PKR 15,000 (USD 53) per ton, effective March 11, 2025. This marks the first price revision since October 2024.
ISL now offers CRC (1mm) at PKR 206,500 (USD 735) per ton EXW and galvanized coil (1mm) at PKR 215,850 (USD 769) per ton EXW. Aisha Steel has priced its CRC (1mm) at PKR 206,450 (USD 735) per ton EXW and galvanized coil (1mm) at PKR 215,800 (USD 769) per ton EXW. The listed prices exclude the 18pct sales tax.
Both producers are under scrutiny by the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) for alleged cartelization. A CCP inquiry, initiated in May 2021, found preliminary evidence of price-fixing, coordinated price adjustments, and the exchange of commercially sensitive information.
