Oman’s Nama Water Services has signed an agreement with Al Tayer Engineering Services Company to construct a water purification plant at Wadi Dayqah Dam in Quriyat, a project valued at over USD 142 mln.
Developed under a 20-year public-private partnership (PPP) using the Build, Own, Operate (BOO) model, the plant and its associated infrastructure are expected to be completed within 22 months.
As part of the project, a 20,000-cubic-metre collection tank will be constructed to receive water from the newly built pumping station, which is integrated into the main water transmission line.
