Turkey exported 768,200 tons of rebar in the first two months of 2024, up 36pct YoY, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Yemen was the top importer during this period, receiving 228,300 tons, followed by Romania with 72,700 tons and Albania with 50,000 tons.
In February alone, rebar exports rose 18pct YoY to 353,200 tons, though they declined nearly 35pct compared to January.
