Diriyah Company has awarded a USD 1.4 bln construction contract for the Royal Diriyah Opera House and surrounding developments. The joint venture of El Seif Engineering Contracting Co. Ltd. (ESEC), China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC), and Midmac Construction Co. Ltd. will handle the project.
The contract includes building additional assets in the opera house district, such as a five-star hospitality facility and a mixed-use residential complex.
Backed by the Public Investment Fund, Diriyah is a large-scale urban development set to house nearly 100,000 residents and provide office space for professionals in technology, media, arts, and education.
