Turkish steel producer Tosyali Holding plans to establish and operate a 21 MW solar power plant in Ankara to meet its electricity needs.
The project involves an investment of around USD 10 mln and will feature 40,554 photovoltaic panels, generating an estimated 56 mln kWh of electricity annually. The plant is expected to have a minimum operational lifespan of 25 years.
Tosyali Holding operates across three continents, with nearly 40 facilities worldwide. Apart from its ventures in Turkey, the company maintains substantial investments in Algeria, Senegal, Angola, and other regions.
