NMDC Energy PJSC, a leading provider of EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services for offshore and onshore energy sectors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Hilong Shine New Materials Co. Ltd (Hilong) during the Make it in the Emirates forum in Abu Dhabi.
Hilong, headquartered in China, specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of advanced industrial coatings and materials for heavy-duty anti-corrosion applications. Its core focus areas include oil country tubular goods (OCTG) coatings, pipeline coatings, concrete weight coatings, and internal pipeline inspection technologies.
Under the MoU, the two companies will explore potential joint venture opportunities to expand operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, leveraging their combined expertise in energy infrastructure and material technologies. NMDC Energy is a majority-owned subsidiary of NMDC Group, dedicated to delivering integrated EPC solutions across the energy industry.
