Turkey’s Saritas Celik has officially commenced work on an integrated stainless steel production facility in the Yalova Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone. With an annual capacity of 800,000 tons, the facility is designed to meet the demands of both domestic and export markets using local resources.
The project will unfold in four phases. The first phase, scheduled to be operational in 2027, includes cold rolling mills with a planned capacity of 400,000 tons. A hot rolling mill, launching in 2028, will double production. The final stage, a steel melting plant, will be commissioned in 2030, enabling full in-house production from melting to finished product.
Saritas Celik’s current processing center in Gebze, which employs 350 people, will continue operations alongside the new facility. The company will also maintain its focus on value-added services such as slitting, cutting, grinding, painting, surface treatments, and anti-fingerprint coating to provide flexible solutions for its industrial clients.
