Wasco Energy, the energy services arm of Malaysia’s Wasco Berhad, has launched a new 25,000-square-metre fabrication yard in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), UAE, to enhance its modular engineering and fabrication capabilities for energy and industrial projects across the Middle East and beyond.
With an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons, the facility will manufacture process modules, PAU/PAR units, gas compressor packages, substations, and E-Houses for both onshore and offshore applications.
The yard supports Wasco’s end-to-end modular solutions, from FEED to fabrication and delivery, drawing on its multidisciplinary expertise. It also aligns with the UAE’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme by promoting local content and strengthening regional supply chains.
The UAE facility complements Wasco’s existing fabrication yards in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as its pipe coating plants in Qatar, Malaysia, the UK, and Tanzania, reinforcing its global project delivery network.
