Pakistan imported 414,209 tons of finished steel in April 2025, a sharp 76pct increase from 235,339 tons in April 2024, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Compared to March 2025, Pakistan’s finished steel imports rose by 26pct.
During the first four months of 2025, total finished steel imports surged by 55.5pct YoY, reaching 1.4 mln tons.
