Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has lowered its wire rod prices, according to the company’s latest price list.
The company’s wire rod prices have been reduced by USD 10 per ton as compared to the prices announced on May 14, 2025. The prices are set at USD 590 per ton EXW for 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade wire rod and USD 580 per ton EXW for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grades.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
