Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has updated its rebar prices, according to its latest price list.
The new price for 12-32 mm rebar is set at TRY 21,460 per ton EXW (USD 544), reflecting a slight decrease from TRY 21,585 per ton (USD 553) in the last week of May, based on an exchange rate of TRY 39 to the USD.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
