Turkey’s statistical agency TUIK reported that the construction sector confidence index fell by 1.7pct in June 2025 to 86.9 compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, the retail trade sector saw a 2.5pct increase in its confidence index, reaching 108.5. The services sector index edged up by 0.4pct but still declined to 110.9 from May.
These indices, measured on a scale from 0 to 200, provide insights into industry sentiment, with values exceeding 100 indicating optimism and values below 100 reflecting pessimism.
