Turkey exported around 582,000 tons of welded steel pipes in the first four months of 2025, reflecting a 9pct YoY decline, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania remained the top destination, importing 95,000 tons during the period. Other key markets included Iraq with 52,000 tons and the U.K. with 50,000 tons.
In April alone, exports totaled 127,800 tons, up 5.5pct compared to the same month last year but down 39pct from March.
