Turkey exported around 1.72 mln tons of rebar during the first five months of 2025, up 26pct YoY, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Yemen was the largest buyer, importing 334,500 tons of Turkish rebar during the period. Romania ranked second with 159,700 tons, followed by Albania with 99,900 tons.
In May 2025, rebar exports stood at approximately 364,000 tons, representing a 22pct increase compared to May 2024. The figure also reflected a 26pct rise from April 2025.
