Algerian steelmaker Alfapipe, a subsidiary of the National Steel Holding Company, has commenced operations at its new steel pipe manufacturing facility in Battioua, Oran Province.
The facility has an annual production capacity of 360,000 tons of welded steel pipes and currently employs 160 workers.
It also features a modern coating unit capable of processing up to 300 square meters of pipe surface per hour, both internally and externally, positioning it as a key supplier for energy pipelines, irrigation systems, and desalination projects.
