Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company has completed construction and launched trial operations at its new Wind Power Systems Factory in Yanbu Industrial City, according to a stock exchange filing.
The facility will manufacture windmill towers, marking the company’s entry into the wind energy supply chain. Commercial production is set to begin on August 1, 2025, with the financial impact expected to reflect in the third quarter of the year.
Al Yamamah Steel is a leading Saudi manufacturer of steel products, including welded tubes, sheets, rebars, and three-dimensional space structures for the construction and infrastructure sectors. The company also produces galvanized steel poles, high-mast structures, and lattice towers for the power transmission and distribution industry. Its production facilities are located in Jeddah, Dammam, and Yanbu.
