Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has cut billet prices by USD 8 per ton in its latest sales round compared with August 14 levels.
The company is now offering S235JR grade billets at USD 492 per ton EXW and B420 grade billets at USD 502 per ton EXW.
Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, and profiles at its Karabuk-based facilities.
