The UAE has extended the increase in customs duty on rebar and wire rod from 5pct to 10pct until October 12, 2026, according to a notice issued by Dubai Customs.
Products covered by the duty include those under HS Codes 72131000, 72132000, 72139100, 72141030, 72141040, 72141090, 72142030, 72142040, 72142090, 72143030, 72143040, 72143090, 72149100 and 72149900.
