Saudi Arabia’s Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has signed two contracts with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Saudi Arabia worth a combined SAR 207.09 mln (USD 55 mln) for the supply of steel towers for a 380 kV ultra-high-voltage transmission line in the Central Region, the company said in a stock exchange filings.
The first contract is valued at SAR 100.65 mln (USD 26.8 mln) and the second at SAR 106.44 mln (USD 28.2 mln). Both agreements have a one-year duration, with deliveries scheduled to begin in March 2026.
Al Yamamah Steel noted that the financial contribution from the contracts will be reflected in the first quarter of 2026.
Al Yamamah Steel specializes in the manufacturing and sale of a variety of products including welded tubes, sheets, rebars, and three-dimensional space structures, primarily serving the buildings and infrastructure sector. The company also produces galvanized steel lighting and distribution poles, high mast structures, and galvanized steel lattice towers for the electrical and distribution industry. Its production facilities are strategically located in Jeddah, Dammam, and Yanbu.
