Tenaris has won a contract from Petrobras to supply conductor and surface casing for the Pre-Salt and Equatorial Margin projects in offshore Brazil. The agreement, awarded through a global tender, will run from 2027 to 2029.
The scope includes TenarisHydril BlueDock weld-on connectors with Automatic Anti-Rotational Keys (AARK), enabling hands-free activation without special tools to improve safety and efficiency. The tubulars are engineered to meet Brazil’s demanding offshore conditions, offering high fatigue resistance and collapse strength.
Supplied under Tenaris’s Rig Direct service model, the contract covers pipe preparation, inspection and repairs, transportation, rig returns, and on-site support from Tenaris Field Services specialists. It also includes the use of the PipeTracer identification system, providing full digital traceability of each pipe’s technical properties to enhance accuracy, reduce handling, and streamline offshore operations.
