Pacific Steel Group has selected Danieli to supply a cutting-edge ECO Primary Line for its upcoming Hybrid MiDa plant in California, aiming to create one of the most environmentally sustainable rebar manufacturing facilities in the world.
Developed through close collaboration between the two companies, the new system will significantly reduce EAF air emissions, targeting nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds to industry-leading levels. The design also includes provisions for a future carbon capture system, further advancing Pacific Steel’s green steel goals.
The ECO Primary Line, part of Danieli’s innovative green steel technologies, is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2027, alongside the new H-MiDa plant.
