India’s state-owned NMDC Ltd produced 4.27 mln tons of iron ore in October 2025, up 4.9pct YoY from 4.07 mln tons a year earlier, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The company’s iron ore sales fell 3.5pct YoY to 3.89 mln tons during the month.
For April-October FY26, output rose to 26.47 mln tons from 21.55 mln tons a year earlier, while sales increased 9.7pct to 26.14 mln tons.
NMDC operates three fully mechanized mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, with an annual production capacity exceeding 45 mln tons.
