The UAE Steel Producers Committee has appointed new leaders to guide the industry group.
EMSTEEL Group CEO Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi has been elected Chairman, reflecting broad confidence in his leadership and commitment to strengthening the UAE steel sector, EMSTEEL said.
Arabian Gulf Steel Industries (AGSI) announced that its CEO, Asam Hussain, has been appointed Vice Chairman for long steel products, semi-finished steel, and raw materials.
Anil Taurani, Managing Director of Taurani Holdings and its subsidiaries UTP Group and KHK Scaffolding & Formwork, has been elected Vice Chairman for the flat and tubular goods segment.
Established in 2020 as a non-profit body, the UAE Steel Producers Committee represents around 90pct of the country’s iron and steel producers, working to support industry development, competitiveness and sustainable growth.
