AD Ports Group’s Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) has signed a land lease agreement with India’s Jindal SAW Group, enabling the steel pipe manufacturer to significantly expand its operations in ICAD-KEZAD Musaffah.
Jindal SAW will establish a new seamless pipe manufacturing facility with a capacity of 300,000 tons per year. The USD 272 mln project will span roughly 400,000 square meters and produce high-precision steel seamless tubes, fittings, and pipes, along with precision machining and metal-forming operations. These products will support oil and gas exploration and transport across regional and global markets.
The expansion strengthens Jindal SAW’s presence in Abu Dhabi as it positions itself to meet rising global demand while aligning with the UAE’s strategy to advance industrial growth and energy-sector capabilities. The project is expected to create around 1,000 jobs.
